512KB L2 versions of this board may default to only running in Write-Through L2 cache mode The BIOS was very poorly coded and despite setting Write-Back mode seems to default to hard coded WT settings with poor timings.
1MB L2 versions of this board default to Write-Back mode for L2 with fast settings.
A BIOS Patch needs to be developed or 512K boards upgraded to 1MB L2.
