Vcore generation part of VRM uses lineral regulation, which causes the Vcore MOSFET to run dangerously hot.
It is recommended to place an radiator ontop of said MOSFET (upper one, closest to CPU socket) or upgrade both MOSFETs to PSMN004-25B (or equivalent) to avoid damage to hardware. Long term running without any prevention fixes can result in self-desoldering of MOSFETs and coils.
This fault seems to be fixed in later revisions. [reported by kotel studios]
