Pentium III Coppermine/Tualatin VRM Fix
If your board has a HIP6004ACB VRM controller for the primary CPU, it may be swapped with a HIP6004BCB to enable CPU voltages below 1.8V.
FSB >= 133 MHz modification
If your board has a ICS 9150-08 clock generator, it may be swapped for a 9250-08 to enable frequencies above 112 MHz. It is a drop-in replacement.
Do note that a third jumper is needed to unlock the FSB options >= 133MHz. The 133MHz option available without this modification runs PCI at 44MHz and thus potentially causes instablility.
The schematic for this can be found in the images tab.
Careful: a lot of counterfeit 9250-08 chips from China are floating around on chinese markets.
Fix for instability at 133MHz with Tualatin CPUs
The incompatible GTL voltage can cause out of spec overshoots and instability at 133MHz when used with modified Tualatin CPUs, especially with the MS-6905 v2.x slotket. The ASUS S370-DL seem to be much less subsceptible to these problems. After executing this mod, Vtt will be ~1.35V instead of 1.5V.
Adjusting the reference voltage and thus reducing the Vtt voltage can help matters. The schematic for this can be found in the images tab.
