BIOS versions #401A0-0301 and newer do not work properly on boards with the Intel 27C010 EEPROM chip, resulting in a long beep followed by a "Can't write ESCD" error during POST. To fix this, either use version #401A0-0205 or earlier; or replace the flash chip with an SST 29EE010 or a compatible part.
