This board exists in various PCB revisions many of which are made by different vendors for HP
Assembly Part Numbers (AS#)
- 635678-001 → Original Sandy Bridge version
- 635678-002 → Minor revision
- 635678-003 → Upgrade version, fully supports both Sandy & Ivy Bridge out of box
- 635678-004 → "Enhanced" and latest version
Spare Part Numbers (SP#)
SP# doesn’t always correlate directly to AS#
- 667253-001 → Found on 635678-001 and 635678-002 and 635678-004
- 801941-001 → Not enough data (suspected transition version)
- 801942-001 → Always found on 635678-004 ("Enhanced" board, comes in both blue & green PCB variants)
Board can unofficially support 64GB 8Rx4 LRDIMM's at PC3-14900L (1866) Speed in 1DPC has been tested to support 1.5TB of RAM total in this configuration but RAM speed drops to DDR3-1066 or 800 depending on RAM and CPU IMC quality.
You can bake a cake in the time it takes to post in this config.
Compatible Rail kit is made of 374510, 374516-001 and 374517-001 Others may be compatible. These are just the 3 I know for the Outer rail, mid slide and inner rail that clips onto the server.
